PRI-DANA has suffered a fire 31/12-2018 at 11.45 PM in the galvanic plating hall area.

1.000 sqm. of the total 15.000 sqm. production site in Hedensted, Denmark has been affected by the fire.

​

No staff was present in the site at the time of fire and no injuries of staff has occurred. 

​

Investigation of the cause of the fire is ongoing and once completed the recovery actions will be started.

​

As the galvanic plating capacity has been affected, this will affect the ability to meet customer commitments and we consider this as a force majeure situation. Over the coming days, once a full overview of conditions have been established, we will together with our customers, employees, and our insurance partner find the best way forward for handling the situation. We are forced to use an external galvanic plating source for the coming period.

Luckily, no damage to other areas than the galvanic plating hall has been affected. Therefore, all tooling, production and design data and other critical production and company assets remain intact.
